洛杉磯– 2009年2月23日– STC管理公司的團隊領導人 John 許被選為參加2009 Jay W. Levine領導培訓學會少數學員的一名, 也是首位被邀請的北美華裔學員。該學會由國際認證不動產投資師協會(CCIM Institute)舉辦，其宗旨在於促進發展商業投資房地產行業未來的領導人。畢業的學員將協助CCIM協會管理塑造全球規模最大的商業房地產網絡。

領導培訓學會每年僅錄取12名國際認證不動產投資師。自2003年創辦至今，學會絕大多數的畢業生皆為主流。

被邀請的學員除擁有傲人的商業房地產經驗外，還需社區五位領導人的推薦信，其中一封必須來自現任CCIM協會的地區分會會長。

通過參加該學會，John 許將成功建築一座連接華裔與主流的橋樑。他會將具有國際認證的最尖端的專業培訓系統帶回華裔社區，造福華裔商業界。

John 許現任國際認證不動產投資師協會洛杉磯分會的副會長。今年九月他將接任會長一職。

領導培訓學會為紀念Jay W. Levine而命名。 Levine先生曾是CCIM協會的第一任院長。在他2002年去世之前的近四十年中，Levine先生為協會以及整個行業作出了不可估量的貢獻。

總部在芝加哥的CCIM協會是負責授予國際認證不動產投資師(CCIM)資格的機構。

CCIM成員是全球公認的商業及投資房地產的專家。 CCIM成員必須精通商業房地產的投資分析，市場分析，用戶決策分析和財務分析。成員需完成至少四千萬的交易金額以及兩百多小時的相關課程，方能取得認證。

在美國，約有十五萬人士從事商業房地產行業，但僅有百分之六具備CCIM資格。全球擁有CCIM資格的投資師僅九千五百多名。全球的CCIM成員每年負責約四千億美元的房地產交易。 CCIM協會是與全國房地產經紀人協會相關的組織。

STC MANAGEMENT’S JOHN HSU: FIRST CHINESE-AMERICAN ACCEPTED INTO 2009 JAY W. LEVINE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY SPONSORED BY CCIM INSTITUTE

Los Angeles, CA – February 23, 2009 – STC Management’s Team Leader, John Hsu, has been selected to attend the 2009 Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy, a program established by the CCIM Institute to help foster the development of the next generation of leaders in the commercial investment real estate industry. Graduates of the Academy will help shape the future of the CCIM Institute, the governing body of the largest commercial real estate network in the world.

The Leadership Development Academy accepts only 12 CCIM designees worldwide to its program each year. Past graduates have been predominately Caucasian. Hsu is the first Chinese-American to have been selected in the Academy’s history.

In order to be selected as a participant, candidates not only have to possess a stellar track record in the commercial community, but also need five letters of recommendation from community leaders, one of which must come from the current local CCIM chapter president.

John’s selection into the prestigious academy represents significant progress of Chinese-Americans in a field traditionally dominated by Caucasians. Upon completion of the program, he will bring back a professional training system that will benefit the local commercial community as a whole.

John is currently serving as the Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter of CCIM, and will assume presidency in October, 2009.

The Leadership Development Academy is named in memory of Jay W. Levine, CCIM #2 and the first president of the CCIM Institute. Mr. Levine was an inspirational industry leader for close to four decades before his death in January 2002.

Based in Chicago, the CCIM Institute confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation to commercial real estate professionals. To become a CCIM, one must have accumulated a minimum of $40 million in transactions as well as 200 classroom hours.

A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. CCIMs must be proficient in the areas of investment analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and financial analysis for commercial real estate. Of the more than 150,000 commercial real estate professionals in the United States, only an estimated 6 percent hold the CCIM designation. Worldwide, there are about 9,500 CCIMs.

CCIM members are responsible for an approximate US$400 billion annually of real estate transactions globally. CCIM Institute is a commercial affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.
