STC Management were proud to be one of the sponsor of the Rowland Heights Complete Count Walk for the Census 2010. Volunteers left sponsored door hangers with the visited households in order to help residents to understand the Census Project more and how wide reach our voice can be even as individuals. The Walk took place on March 19, 2010. Numerous volunteers spent the time to do the foot work and get involved.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and STC Management for your generous donation to our effort in the Rowland Heights Complete Count Walk. Though your support, we were able to provide door hangers in four different languages in our “hard to count neighborhoods”, promoting the completion of the census forms. The door hangers provided a means to communicate with our residents on this important issue.

This effort had a very positive effect on our community, and with the diversity of support from the various participating community based organizations, we were able to reach over 1,500 residences. It was a success!
